She's best known as Missandei from the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones (2011). Nathalie was raised in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, England and was the daughter of a father from Saint Lucian and English origin and the mother was with Dominican of Dominican descent. Nathalie says that she was inspired to be an actress in the beginning to her mother. The role she played was Young Nala at the West End Production of The Lion King at the age of 10 years old. She made her first television appearance in the role of Sasha Valentine in the teen soap opera Hollyoaks (1995).
